“I became a Swale Borough councillor in May 2023 and had heard about Denise and the job she was doing at Masters House and beyond. I had the honour of meeting her last year when I was Deputy Mayor. Her reputation as a force for good was so underestimated. This year (2025) Denise has been at the forefront of dispensing goodness and a hardworking attitude to everyone she meets. The influence she is having on so many young people on Sheppey, which in turn has radiated out to the whole community is truly inspirational. Denise and the work she does just cannot be measured. She is there 24/7 ,I wish I had an ounce of her energy and commitment. I have seen with my own eyes the difference she is making. I hope that people appreciate everything she does and give her the support she needs. I am proud to be the Mayor of Swale especially when there are people like Denise who cares so much for the young people she supports.”
