Grant Funding Update
"The funding I secured has helped these start ups with much needed income and promotion of their businesses."
When I opened the doors of Masters House Sheerness in January 2024, I promised that it would not only be a business hub, where I mentor and help young entrepreneurs thrive. But the creative centre of the Island too.
I was delighted that the funding I applied for with Swale Borough Council was approved, so that I could bring community art projects on to the Island.
I then contacted Lindsay Soord ( Canterbury & Sheppey coordinator of East Kent Artists’ Open Houses) and Clive Soord to run the ceramic mural workshops.
We ran an art competition, to design an image that told the stories of this unique Island.
The funding I secured has helped these start ups with much needed income and promotion of their businesses.
